Roma London organises community meetings bringing people together to exchange information, discuss local priorities and develop new initiatives for Roma families and young people in London.
YOUTH & EDUCATION ACTIVITIES
Activities for children and young people focused on education, confidence, skills, digital inclusion, mentoring, creativity and positive participation in community life.
We are developing cultural and community activities celebrating Roma music, heritage, identity and creativity while creating opportunities for Roma and wider communities to meet and learn from one another.
Roma Culture & Heritage
Future cultural activities will celebrate and preserve Roma history, traditions, language, identity and creativity through exhibitions, storytelling, workshops, community gatherings and educational activities.
Roma Music & Creative Projects
Roma London is developing music and creative activities bringing together traditional Roma influences and contemporary voices. Planned activities include original music, performances, cultural workshops and opportunities for young and emerging Roma talent.
COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS
Regular community conversations will bring Roma families, young people, volunteers and community representatives together to discuss local needs, exchange information and develop practical community-led solutions. These activities will also help strengthen connections with schools, local services, health services and local authorities.
